Formed an alliance with the BJP in preparation for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka. The two parties are expected to announce their seat-sharing arrangement after the Dussehra festival next month. The BJP views this alliance as a significant boost to its prospects in the Lok Sabha elections and an opportunity to strengthen the NDA, particularly after the party was defeated by the Congress in the May Assembly polls, losing its stronghold in the southern state.
