The Ministry of Civil Aviation has given its ideological consent to the installation of a 242-feet tall statue of Lord Shiva near the Noida Airport. Additionally, the Yamuna Authority has earmarked a sprawling 200 acres of land in Sector 23 D for a yoga complex. The Noida Airport is strategically located near the Yamuna Expressway, and this sector is in close proximity to both the expressway and the Yamuna River.
