The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken swift action in response to allegations made by Tamil actor Vishal regarding corruption within the Central Board of Film Certification’s (CBFC) Mumbai office. Vishal alleged that he was required to pay Rs 6.5 lakh for the screening and certification of the Hindi version of his film “Mark Antony.”
Expressing its firm stance against corruption, the government has ordered an immediate inquiry into the matter. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining zero tolerance for corruption within government institutions.
