Lucknow: After years, there seems to be a resurgence of strained relations between the two major political parties in Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party. On one side is Akhilesh Yadav, who has made it clear to the Indian National Congress that he will not be in an alliance with the BSP. On the other side, Mayawati is becoming aggressive towards Akhilesh Yadav and the Samajwadi Party. In the last two days, Mayawati has been consistently critical of the Samajwadi Party.
