The Supreme Court has raised questions on the West Bengal government’s petition in the surveillance case. The apex court questioned why the state government filed the petition to protect the interests of a private individual. Upon Mamata government’s request, the Supreme Court has postponed the hearing of the case until July but clarified that the case will not be delayed for any reason.
