While the Elevate, Honda’s purpose-built SUV for the Indian market, officially went on sale on September 4, 2023, Honda dealers began accepting bookings two months earlier, starting from July 3, 2023. According to Kunal Bhel, VP Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India, the Honda Elevate SUV currently commands a waiting period of around six months.
The Elevate SV and V variants have a more modest waiting period, ranging from two to three months. However, it’s the higher-spec Elevate VX and ZX variants that have a waiting period of approximately six months at most locations. Some dealers have reported an increase in bookings following the price announcement, as customers find the SUV to be competitively priced.
