President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia has no intention of deploying any type of nuclear weapons in space. He claimed that Russia has developed space capabilities only comparable to those of the United States. Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Minister dismissed a US report claiming that Russia is developing nuclear capabilities by focusing on space.
