President Draupadi Murmu today honored two former Prime Ministers of India, P.V. Narasimha Rao and Chaudhary Charan Singh, with the posthumous Bharat Ratna award. Also honored posthumously were scientist M.S. Swaminathan, known as the father of the Green Revolution in India, and former Chief Minister of Bihar, Karpoori Thakur. This event took place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
