The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) participated in the Global Fintech Festival (GFF) 2023, held in Mumbai, showcasing its enhanced Face Authentication feature, powered by AI and ML technologies, developed entirely in-house. The theme for this showcase was “reimagining Aadhaar #authentication.”
As part of GFF 2023, UIDAI organized an industry meet-up under the theme “reimagine Aadhaar #together,” which brought together executives from various fintech firms and ecosystem partners. The objective was to explore collaborative opportunities, co-innovation possibilities, and promote wider adoption of Aadhaar.
In line with its commitment to innovation, UIDAI presented a roadmap to foster innovation through a new Sandbox environment and the establishment of a state-of-the-art Innovation Lab at the UIDAI Tech Centre. These initiatives aim to facilitate research and development activities and foster innovation.
This effort reflects UIDAI’s commitment to encouraging academia and industry partners to collaborate closely to enable secure, seamless, and inclusive usage of Aadhaar for residents.
