The outlawed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) in Manipur has signed a peace accord after protracted talks with the Center and the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed happiness regarding this by making a post. Earlier, Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh had said that talks with a banned organization were progressing. He expressed hope that very soon a peace agreement would be signed with a big underground organization.
