Due to which about 85 villages of Amritpur Rajepur area have been submerged, the communication route of most of the villages has been cut off. Two to three feet of water is flowing on the main roads of the village. At the same time, people are not getting help on the ground but on paper. Due to the flood water in the houses, the victims are passing along with their families under polythene on the roads.
Let us tell you that due to continuous rains on the mountains and continuous release of water from the dams into the Ganga, the water level of the river Ganga is running above the danger mark. The water level of Ganga has been recorded at 137.40 metres. 257146 cusecs of water was released in Ganga from Narora Dam. Due to which flood water is filled in the village. Due to flood water in the houses, the victims are forced to pass along with the family under the polythene on the roads. On the other hand, the people of Bharka Patti, Bamayari, Makhan Nagra, Budhwa blocks of Rajepur are forced to come out from the flood waters. Villagers of Jhabua are crossing Sotanala boat from the flood water of Manja’s Madhaiya village. The people of the flood-affected village have faced the problem of cattle fodder.
Flood affected villages Jograjpur Rampur Harsinghpur Kayasth are full of water all around. Due to the continuous rising water level of the Ganges, water is visible in many villages of Block Rajepur, the victims are forced to make shelters by putting foil on the side of the road, while some villagers are forced to live on the roofs of the houses. . In the name of help, nothing has been provided to the victims from the district administration so far.
