In this year’s Republic Day parade in Delhi, two daughters from Gorakhpur have secured their place. Aakanksha Rai and Smita Pandey will participate in the NSS volunteers’ parade. Aakanksha Rai, selected for the parade, is a third-semester student of B.Com at St. Andrew’s PG College, while Smita Pandey is a third-semester student of B.Sc. at Mahatma Gandhi PG College. Upon hearing about their selection, joy swept through their college and families.”
