UP News: Power shortage in Uttar Pradesh to be resolved as the production capacity increases by 600 megawatts; Operation commences with the first unit of the Obra Power Project.

UP News: Starting from this Friday, the state began receiving electricity from the first unit of the 660-megawatt Obra C project located in Sonbhadra district. Furthermore, the Jawaharpur and Ghatampur projects will also commence electricity production from their 660-megawatt units by April. The second unit of the Obra C project, generating 660 megawatts, is expected to start producing electricity by June.
