In a stern action, six sub-engineers (JE) involved in constructing roads in the air have been heavily penalized. Their five increments have been permanently suspended. Additionally, each JE will also face a recovery of up to 1-9 lakhs. Currently, these JEs are posted in various districts outside Basti.
