PM Vishwakarma Yojana, launched by the Government of India for the artisans and handicraft workers of the country, is being worked on at a fast pace in Uttar Pradesh. On the instructions of CM Yogi, the process of registration and verification of artisans and handicraft workers on the portal is going on. In this sequence, the Urban Bodies Directorate has written a letter to all the District Magistrates asking them to set targets in each urban body and conduct the first phase of verification as soon as possible.
