In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken significant action in the police recruitment paper leak case. The Chairman of the Police Recruitment Board, Renuka Mishra, has been removed from her position. Rajiv Krishna has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Police Recruitment Board. More than 60,000 candidates had participated for over 48 lakh constable recruitment positions in the state. Following the paper leak incident, the examination was cancelled.
