Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai’s criticism of the Samajwadi Party has created turmoil within the I.N.D.I.A. alliance. Ajay Rai attributed Congress’s significant contribution to the victory of Samajwadi Party candidate Sudhakar Singh in the by-elections in Ghosi, Mau district, and also blamed the Samajwadi Party for the defeat of a Congress candidate in Bagheshwar, Uttarakhand.
