“UP STF arrested the imposter who posed as an Army Colonel and scammed people. Satyapal Singh was apprehended from Meerut’s Ganganager police jurisdiction. He defrauded individuals, promising them jobs in the Indian Army, taking 16 lakhs as payment. Furthermore, he had forged joining letters. Satyapal Singh retired as a driver from the Indian Army in 2003 but turned to fraudulent activities after retirement.
