In a major breakthrough, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) achieved success by apprehending Mo. Javed alias Pappu Ganjia, an active member of the notorious Atiq Ahmad gang. The accused, son of Hifajat Ali alias Fateh Mohammad, hails from Jahangirabad Ganjia in Naini, Prayagraj district.
The STF’s operation led to the capture of the accused at various locations, including Bagh-e-Rahmat Hotel, Foolgali Thana, and Dargah in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The arrest marks a significant victory in the fight against organized crime in the region.
