Uttar Pradesh: The authority to inspect madrasas is now being given to the Minority Welfare Department. Dr. Javed mentioned that following this, the Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Board Act of 2004 has been reinstated. According to the provisions given in the Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Board Act 2004/Rules 2016, no inspection or notice will be carried out by officials of any department other than the Minority Welfare Department.
