Uttarakhand: The Regional Transport Officer (Operations), Shaillesh Tiwari, has issued orders to conduct safety audits of school buses starting next week. The audit will be conducted in a phased manner from December 19 or 20. Schools with multiple buses will be inspected by the transport department’s team on-site, while the remaining schools’ buses will undergo inspections at designated checkposts.
