On Monday, on behalf of the Transport Corporation’s General Manager Operations Deepak Jain, an order was sent to all the Divisional Managers, Deputy General Managers, Assistant General Managers for exemption of fare for women in Raksha Bandhan. In this, he told that from 12 midnight of August 30 to 12 midnight of August 31, the women of the state will be given the opportunity to travel free of cost within the state. He has said that the buses of Uttarakhand Roadways which will come through UP, there will also be free travel. For this, conductors have been asked to issue zero amount tickets through e-ticket machines.
