The Yamunotri highway has been affected in various places, and in many areas, road blockages have made travel difficult. The state has witnessed significant damage in several parts due to the incessant rain. Continuous rainfall has been observed in the Yamuna Valley, including the Yamunotri shrine. This has led to blockages and boulders on the Yamunotri highway, causing disruptions. The situation is particularly dire near Dabarkot. Meanwhile, the Chandra Bhaga River in Rishikesh is in spate.
