Valley of Flowers is open for tourists from June 1 to October 31 every year. The peak time of the valley is considered to be the months of July and August. During this period, around 300 species of flowers bloom here. This time the number of tourists in the World Heritage Valley of Flowers was very less. Due to frequent closure of highways and suspension of travel due to rain, less tourists have reached the valley. While last year, more than 20 thousand tourists had arrived, this year only about 10,500 tourists have come to see the valley.
