Varanasi: Income Tax Department is also tightening the noose on close associates of SP leader Abu Azmi. The list of these associates is now in the hands of tax officials. After gathering all the necessary information, a team will be formed to conduct coordinated raids. An officer revealed that Abu Azmi has ventured into a significant real estate business in Purvanchal after Mumbai. Screening of builders associated with Abu Azmi’s group is underway, including some other close associates who have invested in the jewelry business
