Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar remarked on Tuesday that the current disruptions in parliamentary proceedings are a matter of concern. Speaking during an event at Sainik School in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh, he contrasted the present situation with the historical precedent of the Constituent Assembly, which did not experience any disruptions during its debates on more intricate matters.
Dhankhar, who also serves as the chairman of the Rajya Sabha, expressed his concern over the current state of affairs. He highlighted that the Constituent Assembly, responsible for crafting the Constitution, successfully navigated complex and divisive issues over a span of approximately three years through constructive deliberations.
