In Vrindavan, a tragic incident occurred where five devotees visiting the Banke Bihari Temple were crushed to death and four others severely injured due to a wall collapse. This shocking event prompted the Municipal Administration of Mathura-Vrindavan to take immediate action. After waking up from sleep, the municipal officer has now lodged a case against the owner of the dilapidated building responsible for the collapse. The District Magistrate, Pulkit Khare, has instructed the Municipal Commissioner to identify and demolish such unstable structures. The incident highlights the negligence on the part of building owners and civic authorities, as despite a notice being issued earlier, no action was taken to repair or demolish the building. Nagar Ayukta Anunay Jha emphasized the importance of removing such structures to prevent any future tragedies and ensure public safety in the region.
