Today in Vrindavan, the famous Thakur Banke Bihari temple is joyously celebrating Hariyali Teej. The deity of Thakur Banke Bihari Ji, made of 20 kg gold and 100 kg silver, graces a swing, blessing devotees. A multitude of devotees have gathered to witness this special event. Lord Krishna, adorned in green attire, stands with Radha and devotees in green attire, all joining in the festivities. The swing, previously indoors, is now displayed outside. This tradition dates back to 1947’s independence celebrations. Devotees seek divine darshan in the month of Sawan, embracing devotion and blessings.
