In the teacher recruitment scam, the CID has arrested Sheikh Sirajuddin, the former chairman of the School Service Commission (SSC) for the Western and Northern region. He was arrested from Bankura on Thursday night. Earlier, in the same case, CID had arrested Sheikh Sirajuddin’s wife Jasmin Khatun on February 21st. Sirajuddin had secured a job for his wife Jasmin through a cancelled panel.
