Lucknow: A woman and her daughter, both residents of Rampur Pipariya village of the district died under suspicious circumstances on Saturday night. The woman’s body was found hanging with a noose around her neck, while the daughter was found lying dead on the bed. Police, who reached on receiving information from the family in the morning, sent the bodies for post mortem. Information about the incident has also been given to the district superintendent of police.
The bodies of Suman (36) wife of Shobharam Kasav, resident of village Rampur Pipariya village under Ranipur police station area and her 6-year-old daughter Shivangi were found by Suman’s son and he informed his father about the incident, said inspector-in-charge RK Pandey.
Police said preliminary investigation points at the woman committing suicide and killing her daughter but any conclusion was possible only after receiving the post-mortem report.
