Lucknow: A woman has lodged an FIR under section 376 D (gang rape), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC with Kada Dham police station of Kaushambi district against two residents of Saini accusing them of gang rape and threatening her of dire consequences.
The victim in her FIR alleged that she had gone to take holy dip in Ganga and offer prayers to Kada Dham on August 3. While she was waiting for public transport to return her village on same evening, two car borne youths offered her lift. She also stated in the FIR that the miscreants took her to jungle and gang raped her.
The miscreants also threatened her of dire consequences if she dared to report the matter to police. Victim claimed that the miscreants had also shoot a video of rape and threatened to upload it on social media.
Additional SP ( Kaushambi) Samar Bahadur said police have been probing the charges and action would be initiated accordingly.
