President Draupadi Murmu Grants Approval to Women Reservation Bill: Now Enacted into Law After Presidential Consent” Following approval from the President, the Women Reservation Bill has now been officially enacted into law. The Central Government has issued a notification in this regard. The Women Reservation Bill had been passed by both houses of Parliament during a special session. As a result, women will now have one-third representation in both the Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies.
