Indian female wrestler Neha Sharma was successful in making it to the bronze medal match by defeating Maria Vinnik in the repechage stage here on Tuesday, while her compatriots Sarita Mor and Divya Kakran were successful in the UWW (United World Wrestling) World Championship. Lost the initial round.
Neha, competing in the non-Olympic 55kg category, defeated seventh-seeded Maria Vinnik of Ukraine 7-4 on points. She will compete with Germany’s Anastasia Blaivas for the bronze medal.
