Raksha Bandhan, celebrated on August 30th, marks the festival of sibling love. Just like the previous year, the Uttar Pradesh government is gearing up to present a significant gift to sisters this year as well. In fact, the UP government plans to provide the facility of free bus travel for women on Raksha Bandhan, similar to last year. While the official advisory has not been released yet, Kesari Nandan Chaudhary, the Regional Manager of the UP State Road Transport Corporation, has clarified this intention. This gesture aims to enhance the convenience and mobility of women during the festive occasion.
