The Uttar Pradesh state government began the ‘Sharda’ (School Har Din Aayein) programme to locate and re-enroll out-of-school children in age-appropriate classes from April to May and July 2023. A survey will be conducted by the school’s teachers, instructors, and trainees to identify kids who have never attended school or dropped out.
