In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, people are being advised to stay indoors, warning of continuous heavy rains for the last three days. Such claims are being made continuously by the Lucknow Meteorological Center as well, but Lucknow has still not received good rainfall as compared to other districts. The people of Lucknow are still yearning for good rains. Since the monsoon has been active, till now it has rained only twice. So far, more than 40 mm of rain has been recorded in Lucknow, which is much less than other districts of the state. Within the last three to four days, one millimetre, four millimetres, 40 millimetres, and in the last 24 hours only about 13 millimeters of rain has been recorded.
