The weather is causing a double whammy in UP. Somewhere there is hue and cry due to rain, while some areas are facing the problem of lack of rain. There are chances of drought here.

DROUGHT

This time the weather is playing strangely. Some districts of the state are being hit by drought, while in some districts the rivers have swelled to such an extent that there is a situation of havoc due to floods. People have migrated from many places and camped on the embankments, while in many places villagers are preparing for migration. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department says that it will rain this week. In such a situation, this time people are facing both flood and drought.

After breaking the record of 12 years, the water level of Ganga in Budaun is now stable. The situation is the same in Farrukhabad and Narora Bulandshahr. Yamuna is in spate in Prayagraj. The water in Sharda in Lakhimpur Kheri is continuously increasing. There is plenty of water in the Yamuna in the NCR region and there is a flood situation in the coastal villages. Fluctuations in Saryu are continuing in Bahraich, due to which there is a danger of flood. Here Saryu had crossed the danger mark of 106.070 meters and was flowing two centimeters above. Now it is flowing down one centimetre. Due to this, the heartbeat of the people of the flood affected area has increased. On the other hand, this time the district has recorded 25 percent less rainfall than the average. If there is no rain in a few days, there will be a drought-like situation.
