Cash-strapped Pakistan’s drug regulator said there is no ban on importing vital drugs, including anti-cancer drugs and vaccines, from India for hospitals and private use by civilians. This information was given in a media report on Friday.
According to the news of the newspaper ‘The News International’, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) said on Thursday that under the Import Policy Order 2022, importing important drugs (anti-cancer drugs and vaccines) from India for their own use, hospitals will be fined. Or there is no restriction on common man. However, for this the first objection certificate (NOC) has to be obtained from the authority.
