
Dengue cases are on the rise across India, including Delhi-NCR and several other cities. Recently, 2 dengue-related deaths were reported from the NCR region. Amidst this, a fresh study on dengue has brought forth startling revelations. Researchers at the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology found that the dengue virus (DENV) becomes more severe when exposed to higher temperatures. This study has been published in the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology.
