Renault Introduces Limited Urban Night Editions for Kiger, Kwid, and Triber

Renault has unveiled the Urban Night limited editions for the Kiger, Kwid, and Triber models. These special editions are exclusively limited to 300 units for each model and come with a sleek black exterior color adorned with silver accents on the front and rear bumpers, boot lid, and doors. Additional features include an illuminated scuff plate and a puddle lamp.

The highlight of the Kiger and Triber Urban Night versions is the camera-based 9.66-inch inside rear-view mirror (IRVM), a feature typically found in higher-segment models.

While these limited editions bring fresh aesthetics, the mechanical aspects of the Kiger, Kwid, and Triber remain unchanged. The Kiger offers a 72hp, 96Nm, 1.0-liter petrol engine, and a 100hp, 152Nm, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, both mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol variant includes an AMT, while the turbo-petrol comes with a CVT.

The Kwid and Triber feature a 1.0-liter petrol engine, with the Kwid producing 68hp and 91Nm and the Triber offering 72hp and 96Nm. Both models provide options for a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.

As for pricing, Renault has stated that the Urban Night versions of the Kiger and Triber are priced Rs 14,999 higher than their respective top-tier variants, while the Kwid Urban Night edition costs Rs 6,999 more than its highest trim level.

The Kiger is positioned to compete with models such as the Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch, Citroen C3, and Maruti Suzuki Ignis, with prices ranging from Rs 6.33-8.97 lakh. The Kwid, priced between Rs 4.69-6.32 lakh, primarily competes with the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, while the Triber, priced between Rs 6.33-8.97 lakh, doesn’t have any direct rivals.
