
In a recent decision, the Cabinet has given its approval for an additional allocation of Rs 1,164.53 crore for the Industrial Development Scheme of 2017, benefiting the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
This supplementary funding has become essential to fulfill the committed obligations of the scheme, spanning until the fiscal year 2028-29.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur revealed that the original financial allocation for this scheme amounted to Rs 131.90 crore.
