UP: 47 years after the formation of Noida, the state got another industrial city, its name will be ‘Bida’

47 years after the formation of Noida, the state government has gifted another new industrial city to the state. A new industrial city will be established on Jhansi-Gwalior road in the name of Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA).
New industrial city will be settled in Bundelkhand in Uttar Pradesh.Suresh Khanna said that Bida, to be settled under the Chief Minister Industrial Area Expansion and New Industrial Area Promotion Scheme, will be developed on the lines of Noida. In the first phase, 35 thousand acres of land in 33 revenue villages of Jhansi will be acquired. The price of this land is Rs 6312 crore. A provision of Rs 5 thousand crore was made by the government in the financial year 2022-23 for the formation of BIDA. This year, in 2023-24, a provision of Rs 5000 crore has been made as loan under the Chief Minister Industrial Area Expansion and New Industrial Area Promotion Scheme. Of the land that will be acquired, 8 thousand acres of land belongs to the village society.
