INDIA Leaders To Boycott Debates Of ‘TV Anchors Who Spread Communal Divide’, List Out Soon The INDIA alliance, at its first coordination committee meeting held in Mumbai on Wednesday, decided to compile a list of news anchors and news channels that will be boycotted by opposition leaders due to allegations of bias and unfair treatment by certain media outlets.

Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal revealed that the decision to boycott specific media channels and anchors was made during the coordination committee meeting held at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s residence.

The coordination committee has empowered a media subgroup to identify the anchors whose shows none of the INDIA alliance parties will participate in.

Raghav Chadha, a leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and a Rajya Sabha MP who was part of the meeting, stated, “There are some anchors who conduct provocative debates. We’ll make a list of them, and INDIA alliance partners will stop going to their shows.”

Supporters of the Congress party and the INDIA alliance have begun speculating about the names of TV anchors who might be included in the boycott list.

This announcement follows the filing of an FIR by the ruling Congress-led Karnataka government against Aaj Tak anchor Sudhir Chaudhary for allegedly spreading deliberate and malicious misinformation about a subsidy scheme intended for commercial vehicles.
