Shooting team breaks world record
The Indian shooting team has created history in the Asian Games 2023. India’s 10m men’s rifle team broke the world record by scoring 1893.7 points and left behind China’s record of 1893.3 points. China had made this record in the Baku Championship this year. Along with this, the Indian team also won the gold medal. This is India’s first gold medal in the Asian Games 2023.The sailing team has given India its seventh medal. In the men’s team event (four players), the quartet of Jaswinder, Bhim, Punit and Ashish recorded a time of 6:10.81. The Indian team finished third and captured the bronze medal.
