Hardoi: A sub-inspector in Haryavan’s Gulriha village, caught in a dispute over grazing goats on August 11, demanded a bribe to remove charges. After medical examination and a review of the medical report, the Anti-Corruption Team arrested the sub-inspector in Pokhri near Pihani Road. An FIR has been filed against him under Section 308 (attempt to murder) based on the medical report. The Kotwali City Police will present the arrested sub-inspector in the Lucknow court on Tuesday.
