District Administration Nishant Kumar Yadav said, “Manufacturing, sale and use of all types of firecrackers has been banned in the district from November 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024.” Apart from this, only green firecrackers will be used and other firecrackers will be banned.
These firecrackers have been banned not only in the markets but also on online platforms like Flipkart, Amazon etc. Due to this, the Haryana State Pollution Control Department has also been asked to take care of the purity of the air and has been asked to update the data on a daily basis. The problem of pollution is increasing day by day due to which people are facing a lot of difficulties in breathing. Due to air pollution, not only respiratory diseases but many other dangerous diseases are increasing. Keeping air pollution in mind, the district administration of Gurugram, Haryana has banned firecrackers and their use.
