In its efforts to bring the investment proposals presented at the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit (UPGIS-23) to fruition, the state government has achieved nearly 50% of the targeted goal for ground-breaking ceremonies (GBCs). The proposed investment, in relation to the revised goal of 13 lakh crore rupees for GBCs, has now reached approximately 6.37 lakh crore rupees. If these proposed investments by the companies selected for the ground-breaking ceremony materialize, it could potentially generate employment opportunities for around 18 lakh people.
