Residents protested against the administration in Skardu district of Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The PoK area has been struggling with serious problems for a long time. There are crises like high inflation and shortage of goods and people are demanding to restart trade with India. The protesters blamed the security forces for misusing the Anti-Terrorism Act against the activists and residents. The protesters said they believe that the Islamabad-backed local administration in Gilgit Baltistan is against their legitimate demand of opening the Skardu-Kargil road and this Those speaking in favor have been arrested.
