Covid Deaths: A startling revelation has come to light in a study conducted by doctors at AIIMS. The doctors conducted a comparative study on the COVID-19 waves. It has emerged that during the second wave, there were 12 times more deaths due to COVID-19. In the second wave, 61.1% of the deceased had comorbidities (pre-existing medical conditions). Hence, a significant number of patients lost their lives during the second wave who did not have any pre-existing conditions.
