
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday called on the world to give concrete results in terms of finance to help developing and poor countries deal with climate change, saying that developed countries will have to reduce carbon emissions before 2050. The intensity should be reduced completely.
Addressing a session on ‘Transforming Climate Finance’ at COP28 here, Prime Minister Modi said India looks forward to concrete and real progress on the ‘New Collective Quantified Goal’ (NCQG), a new global climate finance post-2025.
